WSQ Product Management Course

Product management is a business function of planning, developing, launching, managing and optimising a product. A product’s overall success depends on the critical role of product management within an organisation.

Product managers work internally and externally outside of the organisation to conceptualise and execute a plan that will determine the success of a product. One of the key essential functions of the role of a product manager is to ensure that the product is aligned with the company’s overall strategy and goals.

Union Training Assistance Programme (UTAP)

NTUC members can enjoy 50% unfunded* course fee support for up to $250 each year (or $500 a year for NTUC members aged 40 and above).
(*i.e., fees after government subsidies).

Post-Secondary Education Account (PSEA)

WHAT IS THE PSEA?

  1. The Post-Secondary Education Account (PSEA) is part of the Post-Secondary Education Scheme to help Singapore Citizens pay for their post-secondary education. 
  2. It is administered by MOE and is opened automatically for all eligible Singapore Citizens.
  3. The PSEA funds can be used to
    1. Pay for your child’s or their siblings’ approved programmes at approved institutions.
    2. Repay government education loans and financial schemes.
  4. Find out where and how the funds can be used.
  5. The PSEA balance will earn interest pegged to the CPF Ordinary Account (CPF-OA), which is currently 2.5% per annum.

Course Outline

Product Management Fundamentals

Our curriculum first introduces you to product management, building up your foundational knowledge in building products and teams for success.

Learn how to define the requirements of a particular product, including the product’s purpose, features, and functionality. Practice key skills such as stakeholder communication and facilitating prioritisation sessions.

 

Graduate Competency

Key assessments will be conducted at the end of the course to ensure that all participants have achieved the required competency level.

Those who pass receive a WSQ Statement of Attainment (SOA) issued by SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG).
