NTUC members can use UTAP (Union Training Assistance Programme) to defray the cost of this course. Members enjoy 50% unfunded course fee support for up to $250 each year, or $500 for members aged 40 and above. The unfunded course fee refers to the balance payable after applicable government subsidies such as WSQ funding or SkillsFuture Credit have been applied.
To be eligible, you must be a paid-up NTUC member before the course commences and throughout the entire duration, achieve at least 75% attendance, and submit your claim within 6 months of course completion. UTAP cannot be used if the course is fully funded by your employer or other grants.

Singapore-registered businesses investing in innovation activities. Such as R&D, IP registration, or SSG-funded training that can claim a massive 400% tax deduction on up to $100,000 of their total innovation expenses into a non-taxable cash payout of up to $20,000 per year (at a 20% conversion rate). To qualify for the cash payout, companies must be actively operating in Singapore and have contributed CPF for at least three full-time local employees (earning at least $1,400/month) for a minimum of six months during that year.

This grant helps Singapore employers offset the manpower and salary costs incurred when they send their employees for approved SkillsFuture (SSG) training courses. It provides a standard funding rate of $4.50 per attended training hour, capped at S$100,000 per organisation each calendar year, and covers fully sponsored employees who are Singapore Citizens, Permanent Residents (PRs), or Long Term Visitor Pass Plus (LTVP+) holders. To successfully receive the payout via corporate PayNow, your company must pay regular CPF contributions for the sponsored employee, and the employee must fully complete the training before the claim is processed through the GoBusiness portal.

The SFEC provides eligible employers with a one-off $10,000 credit to offset up to 90% of their out-of-pocket expenses for supported enterprise and workforce transformation programmes, including SSG training courses and Productivity Solutions Grants (PSG). There is no standalone application process required, as eligible businesses are automatically notified and credited via their Corppass or the GoBusiness portal if they have contributed at least $750 in Skills Development Levy (SDL) and employed at least three local staff members on payroll each month during the designated qualifying window.
Note: Unused credits from the current tranche expire on November 30, 2026, after which a redesigned SFEC framework will issue a fresh $10,000 credit tranche to eligible employers starting December 1, 2026.
